Ukraine has become the "Mecca" for Russian Brides. There are more quality ladies that are actually considering the idea of a relationship with a foreign man than in any other place in the Former Soviet Union. There are also more quality, reputable marriage agencies in Ukraine than in any other part of the Former Soviet Union. However, because of the existence of many dishonest parties out there, the trick has become locating these agencies and being able to tell the difference between a real marriage agency that is honestly trying to help you find a partner for life and a website that is simply interested in separating you from your money. You must also know where to look. Many of the best, legitimate marriage agencies, interpreters etc, are not easily found on the Internet. Also, contrary to popular belief and prevalent promotion on the Internet, most of the best agencies are not located in the largest cities of Ukraine. If you have never traveled to Ukraine in search of a Russian Bride before we do not recommend that you do so on your own simply based on what you have read on the Internet. There are many widely promoted and generally accepted misconceptions about Russian Brides and many pitfalls associated with these misconceptions. We recommend that you seek guidance in this endeavor from a reputable agency that can provide you with references and verifiable examples of their ladies and successes. If you seek guidance from experienced and reputable agencies that will save you time, money and the frustration of "trial and error" please visit our Romance Tours page.

The best time to go to Ukraine is in spring when the Chestnut trees bloom and the people the country over rejoice in throwing off heavy winter coats. With over 125,000 archeological, architectural and historical monuments, some dating from the 10th – 11th century and hundreds of museums that reflect the remarkable history of the Ukrainian people, there is plenty to see for the history hungry traveler. Odessa is referred to as the "Pearl of the Black Sea" and is the third largest city in Ukraine and the largest city along the Black Sea. Odessa's mild climate, warm waters and sunlit beaches attract hundreds of people year round. However, our traveler's pick for Ukraine is Yalta located in the Crimean region. Its beautiful waters, breathtaking views and meeting of the mountains and sea make it the most picturesque Ukrainian locale. Yalta is perfect for a romantic getaway.

Winters in Ukraine are bitterly cold. Winter is the perfect time to head to the Carpathian Mountains, Ukraine's skiing district for world class skiing, hiking and snowboarding. The best times for seeking and dating Russian Brides are the spring and fall. Most women are home during these periods due to obligations of work, school and family. The winters are very harsh and difficult from a travel standpoint, but actually a good time to seek Russian Brides, as most women will be in their hometown during this time and visitors are fewer than in other seasons. Although summer is the most popular time of year for travel it is actually the worst season to meet a Russian Bride in Ukraine. Many women adjourn to the seaside with family while others entertain work opportunities abroad.
