Hello, my name is Chris and this is the Russian Bride Travelers Blog.  Pleased to meet ya!  I am doing a series about the search for Russian Brides.  I hope that you will like it and that you will find it interesting and informative.  I will be talking about everything from agencies to ladies, from hotels to apartments, from travel to some of the clients that I have worked with. The reason that I have been asked to this is that RBT would like someone, that tells it like it is and doesn’t pull punches to give the inside “dope” about searching for a Russian bride.   I have taken many, many clients over to Ukraine and visited many, many agencies, as well as met literally thousands of ladies that are searching for foreign husbands (and some that are just pretending to be).  Does that make me an expert?  Well I guess if there was such a thing that I might be fairly qualified, however I don’t think there really is such a thing as an “expert” in this field.  When you are dealing with people and matters of the heart, sometimes you don’t know what people will do until they do it.  I am going to simply tell it like it happened to me and my clients, ladies, agencies etc, and hope that you can take something valuable away from it that will help you in your search.

A little about myself.  I have been going over to Ukraine since 2003.  I have owned a successful tour business and correspondence website.  I have introduced quite a few men to their second half and many of them are still married today.  One of my best friends to this day is a guy I took over to Ukraine in 2005.  I am very proud of that fact and it gives me a warm, fuzzy feeling whenever I hear from one of my old clients and they tell me that they are still together and happy or that they are having their first kid.  I am also proud of the fact that I have educated many men on what I think is and have found to be the most effective way to find a Russian Bride.  Many men have taken my advice and many have been successful in their searches.  Others have used my advice to realize that this kind of a search is not for them.  Unfortunately, no matter how careful you are, no matter how much you know, it is still possible to run into the wrong type of people and to be taken for a ride.  Luckily and by design, I can honestly say that very few of my clients ever met this description because they were prepared and were at least aware of some of the things that can happen to you.  So, even if they weren’t all successful in their searches, at least they were no worse off for having gone through the experience.  I think most would say it was one of the best times they ever had in their lives and certainly one of the most interesting.  Oh, did I mention that I was also married to a sweet, beautiful and attentive Ukrainian lady?  Also, for the sake of disclosure, I guess I have to let you know that I managed to screw it up and she left me after 4 years of marriage.  Hey, I know how to catch ‘em, I didn’t say I know how to keep em.’  Unfortunately in this business, I meet a lot of beautiful ladies and… you can guess the rest.  Anyway, I digress. 

What exactly am I going to talk about?  Well I am going to tell you about good agencies that I have been to as well as the bad ones.  I will tell you about their services levels and their ladies.  I am going to tell you about good hotels and good apartments, as well as the “not so comfy” version.  I am even going to tell you about specific ladies that you may see in profiles on the internet today on some of the most popular websites.  Some of them were great and I am going to say that.  I am going to recommend that you contact them because they are real, sincere and honestly trying to find a foreign husband.  I am also going to tell you about some ladies whose intentions may not have been so sincere or that seemed very immature or selfish in their dealings with me and my clients.  I am going to give you travel tips, good restaurant tips and good interpreter tips.  After a few entries I think you will understand that I have been to Ukraine more than a few times and that I have some stories to tell.  I am going to try my best to give you the facts as I know them and let you decide for yourself.  I am going to tell you what I look for in an agency and in a lady that you may find useful.  I am going to let you in on some useful rules that I use in determining when to walk away from a bad situation and when I think that maybe clients of mine have been a little too quick to give up.  I am going to try and stay away from using words like scam or scammer.  Although there are plenty of them out there, I find that just as often there is a lot of “crying wolf” simply because a lady is not interested.  I am going to let you in on a little secret, I have had more problems and issues with my male clients and their behavior than I even have with the ladies and the agencies that I have been to.  That is not to say that they have all been perfect.  I have had some doozies and I am going to tell you about those too.  But first I am going to start with a positive and hopefully helpful article call “Poltava, Agencies and Ladies.”
